Environmental Issues Surrounding Fashion
Globally, it is estimated that one truckload of clothing is discarded every second, approximately 510,000 tons* of clothing each year in Japan.
Efforts towards sustainable fashion include reducing environmental impact in material sourcing, production processes, and promoting recycling through collection. However, achievements in reuse and recycling are still limited. CIRCULAR FARM aims to achieve the recycling of all discarded clothing through a new approach and technology.
